I could do it, if I only knew how. But I didn't know how. This is the fundamental problem of usability. It's not that it's hard to use things correctly; the problem is that it's hard to tell how to use them. It's easy to get these confused, even if you know better, and I do whenever I'm not paying attention. It's no wonder most software is so hard to use, when it's a challenge to even be aware of the problem.
